SHORT SCOOP: Degreed and 5+ yrs overall busn and SAP/ERP development/design exp; R3, APO, PP & MM exp a must. Sales, invoicing & BW exp preferred.
SUMMARY:
The SAP PP & MM Systems Analyst plans, tests, and configures SAP modules supporting a functional area or division of the company. He/she maintains the current system and is assigned complex global projects requiring significant integration with other areas. He/she will routinely handle multiple systems in addition to SAP duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Process Analysis ---
* Works with process lead and other BSAs in analysis and decomposition of current business processes, performs scripting exercises, and designs ERP system to support these processes.
Business Systems Software Configuration ---
* Assists process owner in design of system software; responsible for overall configuration of systems software
* Leads the design of reports, forms, interfaces, custom programs, and conversions.
Unit & Integration Testing ---
* Executes unit and integration testing of business systems software
* Performs testing, makes changes in configuration based on results, and resolves errors
* Coordinates and tests other systems in areas outside of designated function (i.e., SD, CRM, HR, FI/CO).
Training & Documentation ---
* Develops and delivers training to end users of assigned module(s)
* Assists in process identifications and documentation of system tasks
* Provides leadership and direction to less experienced BSAs on various processes including analysis, testing and integration, and system configuration activities.
Project Management ---
* Provides leadership for design/development of reports, forms, interfaces, and conversions related to complex projects with global scope
* May evaluate non-SAP applications being considered for the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline
* 5+ yrs general business exp (finance, sales, marketing, manufacturing, etc.)
* 5+ yrs SAP (or other ERP system) exp at a process/functional design and development level
* 5+ yrs working knowledge of logistics and transportation
* Working knowledge of multiple systems (R3, CRM, APO)
* Exp with SAP's distribution, shipping, WM, and transportation modules (sales & invoice preferred)
* Functional exp with SAP BW preferred
* Exp in evaluating and implementing new software and upgrades
* Strong project management skills (resource organization, project planning, budgeting)
* Exp with labeling systems in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
* Extensive exp working across all organizational layers
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
