VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING
We are seeking a world-class engineering leader with the proven ability to build and manage a team of software engineers in a rapid application development environment. We need a creative partner that can help us innovate the product and brainstorm solutions across the company.
What We Need
The Vice President of Engineering will head the development and evolution of our world-class, SaaS recruitment solution. Startups can be very hands on for the first few years, so you should relish both short-term execution and long-term big picture challenges.
- Build and lead the engineering teams responsible for all Jobvite products.
- Drive, plan, schedule and manage all software development.
- Provide estimations and on-time delivery of software projects.
- Interact with customers on sales and solutions design.
- Manage supportive engineering functions such as QA and documentation.
- Manage operations, including our datacenter and internal IT; provide world-class service levels to our customers
What You Bring to the Party
- 12+ years software development experience.
- 5+ years experience managing at director level and above.
- Strong network and recruiting skills to enable the rapid growth of our technical team
- Strong leadership skills that can motivate and inspire a world-class team.
- Extensive experience with web services architectures.
- Experience building reliable and scalable SaaS (software as a service) solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft's .NET architecture is a plus.
- Computer science degree (or related field).
