Job Description:
Position requires knowledge of relational databases and data-driven application development using Microsoft products and languages (.NET skills a plus). Knowledge of Crystal Reports and experience writing custom reporting solutions preferred. Excellent project management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision are a must. Position responsibilities include day-to-day support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise databases, 3rd party, and internally built data-driven applications. Also, running scripts, writing reports, reviewing SOX logs, Crossroads (SharePoint) expansion and training is necessary.

“We call this position the Software Analysts and even though that typically implies a Business Analyst, in our environment, they are sort of like “Junior” programmers. They do a lot of the front line support and maintenance tasks. “
Top Three Criteria:
1. The ability to troubleshoot. The Software Analysts are tier 1 support for all of their internal applications
2. SQL Server experience, they run a lot of scripts and do basic maintenance in a SQL environment
3. Crystal Reports experience, lots of reports for the various departments
Big Plus:
.Net and Sharepoint experience
Skills:
Preferred 1-2 years hands-on experience in data-driven application development, full life-cycle systems deployment, and commercial product customization. Skill-set of .NET, SQL, T-SQL, Crystal, HTML, XML, and SharePoint is a plus. Hardware/Software integration and web application development experience a plus. Excellent oral and written communication is a must.
