We currently have an excellent opportunity in our Global Operations Center in Wheeling, WV for a Knowledge Systems Manager.

The Knowledge Systems Manager will serve as the organizational focal point for the management of a wide range of Knowledge Management (KM) department projects and activities, ensuring that requirements analysis, planning, and implementation are conducted in an efficient manner; coordinating with practice groups, attorneys, and administrative departments; serving as the primary Knowledge Management team lead working with the Web Engineering and Applications departments; and supervising the work of Knowledge Management team members based in the firm's Global Operations Center located in Wheeling, West Virginia. The Knowledge Systems Manager will also manage a range of KM projects as directed by the firm's Chief Knowledge Officer.

Qualifications:
• College diploma or university degree in the field of law, business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems. 3-5 years related work experience (prior law firm experience preferred).
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Proven experience coordinating efforts relating to the design, development, implementation or modification of business processes, software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multitask assignments, and to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation required.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Highly self motivated and directed.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Excellent computer/Internet skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years experience with Portal, intranet, and/or web site implementation and maintenance required.
• Experience with spreadsheet and database programs, such as Excel, MS Access, MS SQL. Experience with InterAction preferred.
• Experience with content management systems required.
• Working knowledge of HTML, ASP, DHTML, Javascript; cascading style sheets, and XML required.
• Possess experience with information systems in a client service oriented environment required.
• Initiative in working with end users and third parties required.
• Experience with document management systems (e.g., DOCS Open or InterWoven) and Sharepoint Portal Server a plus.
