The Bivium Group is closely partnered with several Software Product companies in the local/greater Boston area (Boston, Burlington, Lexington, Quincy, Weston) who are seeking experienced Software Engineers (from entry to principal level) with Windows development expertise and knowledge that ranges from Windows Applications to System Internals and Kernel Mode Development to pure GUI development (VC++, MFC, ATL/STL).
Business domains / applications include Financial Services (Trade Order Management Systems/Portfolio Management), Publishing Software for podcasts, blogs, music, photo & video files and more, Data Compression and Optimization, Application Virtualization and Desktop Optimization, Policy Management, Network Monitoring, and several more...
Pure C++, Win32 - VC++/MFC GUI and .NET (C#, ASP.NET) opportunities exist. In either case, candidates should still have strong C++, multi-threading experience.
Total compensation range: 60's to 140k (depending on experience/expertise), plus equity and several companies also offer cash bonus.
