SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST II
POSITION SUMMARY
• Supports application software testing, software integration, and configuration management tasks to assure customer satisfaction with application accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
• Analyzes application requirements and designs documents. Refers to more experienced department personnel for guidance on new or complex issues.
• Identifies scope, requirements, and target implementation dates for proposed changes. Participates in test strategy sessions.
• Develops and executes test plans and cases, analyzes results.
• Creates test data, identifies and generates test tools.
• Documents discrepancies found and provides status reports to management.
• Participates in communications with other departments to coordinate test and implementation activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance testing.
• Knowledge of SQL Server Systems. Proven ability to write simple SQL queries.
• Solid programming skills -- C#, C++, Visual Basic (VB).
• Good knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of applications and relevant computing platforms.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to a diverse range of customers.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Good time management skills.
