Multidisciplinary development and prototype team creating customer driven products with aggressive deadlines.
Will layout single-sided, single-sided with some components on the opposite side and multilayer boards. All components are surface mounted, and the boards are of small dimensions.
Will have to take into account heat dissipation needs as well as EMC (ElectroMechanical Compliance) requirements. Work will be done on Mentorgraphics, Expedition version.
All the hardware designs are completed and the PC Board layout remains to be done.
This work is automotive related.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION NEEDED
Mentor Graphics experience required -- from importing schematics through PCB layout to creation of gerbers for PCB orders
·PCB layout for EMC/EMI requirements required
·Development and prototype cycle experience required
·Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required. Microsoft Visio a plus.
·DFMEA and PFMEA preferred
·Working knowledge of Pro/E, Ideas, and/or OrCAD's PSpice preferred
·Ability to create 3-D models of PCB outlines preferred
