Embedded Firmware Engineer
Multidisciplinary, multi-firmware engineer development team creating CAN (Controller Area Network) protocol based customer driven products with aggressive deadlines. Expect direct communication with customer throughout development and production.
The major task will be to write CAN interface. The projects are automotive related.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION NEEDED
BS in Eng'g or Computer Science is needed, but more importantly, actual work experience with CAN is a must. Courses in CAN would be also very helpful.
·Embedded C language programming required. Assembly, C++, Visual C, or Visual Basic a plus
·High-Speed ISO-11898 CAN protocol layer programming required. Other communication protocols a plus.
·Embedded troubleshooting and documentation (flowcharts, state diagrams, etc.) required
·Change request and release schedule management required.
·CodeWarrior or other embedded IDE required
·Vector CAN-Tech CANoe required
·Version control software such as ClearCase or Subversion preferred
·Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required. Microsoft Visio a plus.
·ISO4230-03 OBDII Keyword 2000 diagnostic layer programming preferred. Flash programming over CAN and bootloader creation is a plus.
·DFMEA and PFMEA preferred
·Electrical hardware design and electromechanical design a plus
