My client is a leading enterprise content and document management software company. They have an immediate opening in their professional services organization for a Sr. Technical Consultant.
Experience with Sharepoint and strong hands-on experience with XML, XSL is required for this position, as well as the ability to travel as needed to client sites (50-75% weekday travel).
The ideal location for this position is Chicago ( relocation provided) but other locations ( virtual office) will also be considered.
This position is a Consultative post-sales role working with customers implementing enterprise document management and search solutions. In this position you will be primarily responsible for system design, software configuration and overall deployment execution of the software.
In addition, you will -
** Work with Project Manager to ensure successful product rollout.
** Work with customer to provide a solution to the customer**s problem (s).
** Provide customers and prospects with service, support, problem solving and escalation
** Interact with R&D and Product Support to provide feedback and gain knowledge of current and future products and services offered by Interwoven
** Provide leadership and guidance to other Technical Consultants on the team.
Job Requirements -
* BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
* Expertise in web technologies (Web servers, CGI scripts, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
* Strong hands on knowledge XML technologies (XPath, XSL, Schemas, SOAP, etc.)
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft IIS and Sharepoint
* Ability and interest in making complex product configurations in support of customer projects with our sophisticated information retrieval suite
* Consultants should possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Solid work ethics with a willingness to work overtime to meet client demand is required
Additional qualifications ( not required) -
* Hands on knowledge of enterprise search tools and technologies is a plus. This would include products such as Autonomy, Verity, FAST, Vivisimo and Recommind.
* Experience with integrating enterprise applications with Universal Search engines is a plus. Examples of enterprise applications are: Exchange, Lotus Notes, Lotus Notes, Elite, CMS Aderant, SAP, Oracle, etc.
* Experience working with document management , records management, or content management applications
* Experience with complex IT environments (Security, Authentication, SSO, Network Storage, Backup, etc.) is a plus.
