Job Description:
Innovar Group is seeking a Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services analyst. This is a contract position with potential for conversion to permanent position.
Scope/Key Responsibilities:
This individual will work with various levels within the user community and IT department to define business requirements, design report schemas and develop the report front ends. Will also receive a stored procedure and will be required to write a Microsoft SSRS report according to Client's standards.
Major Job Duties:
Understand de-normalization and its value when reporting. De-normalize data when necessary. Produce tiered, list, matrix and hybrid reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Analyze requirements and validate data for BI purposes. Ensure that proposed report changes effectively support user's requirements. Ability to maintain priorities for multiple projects.
Required: 1. Microsoft SSRS 2. De-Normalization experience for the purposes of report writing.
Desired: 1. Cube Design, Population and Distribution using SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Reporting)
Educations: 4 year degree in MIS or Computer Science
