Position Overview
TP SYSTEMS LTD. is a growing outsourcing and IT consulting firm, providing business solutions to both the private and public sector for over 25 years.
We are currently seeking a qualified and professional Technical System Analyst to join our team.
This person needs to be business oriented and technical. They will work closely with the business users and technical team from both ends. They need to work with business users to understand the requirements, document them and eventually convert them into materials that developers can use to build applications. In the meantime, they need to be experienced in terms of programming using .NET. This position is ideal for someone who has been .NET programming for a while and would like to move into a position doing more design and architecture.
Responsibilities
• Comprehend business requirements and produce function design document
• Develop system prototypes and create use interface design document
• Compose technical architecture document
• Produce or lead and guideline technical design
• Conduct database design at all levels (conceptual, logical and physical)
• Breakdown system requirements into traceable modules
• Develop multi-tier applications using .NET technology (ASP.NET, ADO.NET,ODP.NET ,VB.NET, AJAX, WSE)
• Monitor development activities to ensure the system is built to specs
• Function as a bridge between development team and business users
• Work with business analyst, project manager, and quality assurance analyst together in a team environment
• Work with DBAs to ensure the database design conform to required standards and meet accordingly requirements
• Maintain documentation to a level required by the client or project
• Provide estimates of development work required
Required Skills
Applicants MUST have previous experience with the following:
• At least 4 years of experience in application designing, programming, testing and implementation using .NET
• At least 1 years of experience in system analyst for technical systems.
• Strong working experience of N-tier and SOA architecture
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A strong background in Rational Database theory.

* Applicants MAY have experience with the following:
• Familiarity with Government application development
Desirable Education
• MCAD (Microsoft Certified Applications Developer)
• MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer)
• MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist)
• MCPD (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer)
• BSc. Preferred
