Technical Requirements:
-Oracle DB Development experience with 9i/10g.
-PL/SQL, Database modeling
-Good exposure to ColdFusion MX7
-Not an expert with DBA tasks, but able to do some of the tasks for system maintenance.
-Many projects at different phases--some new development, and some maintenance
Mid-Level Database Manager / Information Specialist: Successful completion of a post secondary school curriculum leading to an associates degree in an appropriate discipline or a vocational or technical school certificate indicating that post secondary school education and training in the information systems field has been completed.
A minimum of five years experience in the information systems or database management career field is required.
Other Requirements:
· An understanding of traditional and new requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and management practices and the ability to apply them in practice; familiarity with requirements engineering concepts and principles
· An understanding of how to practice requirements engineering according to several software development life cycles in a team environment
· Knowledge of product management concepts and how enterprise IT business application products are positioned and developed
· General business management and operations knowledge is a plus, to have credibility with user representatives and be able to work effectively with them
· Database Manager/Information Specialist will be responsible for developing web application utilizing ColdFusion MX and Oracle. Sound knowledge of ColdFusion MX, html, javascript, and pl/sql. Familiar with Oracle DBA tasks.
