This is remarkable opportunity to broaden your career and take on new challenges within the Manitowoc Crane Group. The company is implementing a worldwide common ERP (SAP) structured around common cross-organizational processes in all regions (Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific). The project is organized in several value streams, including Accounting To Finance (ATF), in which this position would work 100% of the time.
POSITION SUMMARY
Participates in the successful deployment and use of the new ERP system including implementation of SAP software and 'To Be' business processes according to the approved methodology and Business/IS organization. Acts as a thought leader and change agent driving execution, facilitating agreement, and delivering the project within the defined scope, budget, benefits and timeline. The primary role of the position is to perform database administration, with the main goal being to review and scrub conflicting data to facilitate a clean ERP system.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Fully understands the functions of the software within his/her value stream.
• Determines fit/gaps with defined business requirements and designs effective solutions to fill those gaps, minimizing the need for software modifications.
• Designs and parameters the software in a world wide vision respecting the local constraints.
• Implements the AS-IS business process for business units within the specified functional area and geography in the respect of a world wide coherency.
• Utilizes Six Sigma tools and the software implementation methodology to define and enforce the standard CG processes and software settings that make up the global design (TO-BE).
• Plays a role in re-engineering business processes as business changes warrant.
• Assists with the software deployment and establishes effective training to local team members and change management programs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• SAP or ERP implementation experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a project team member.
• Understanding of business methods and best practices within their value stream.
• Excellent business experience in a manufacturing company.
• Ability to be an influential member to provide leadership, establish vision and lead change.
• Experience with project implementation tools.
• Ability to converse in two languages preferred.
• Ability to travel at least 70%.
DESIRED SKILLS
• Database Administration background.
• Previous BI, data analytics, report writing, and data clean-up experience.
• Oracle database and SAP experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Accessibility to coworkers/end users.
• Proven teamwork and problem-solving capabilities. Works to reach compromises when necessary and involves others to discuss issues.
• Ability to consistently follow tasks through to completion.
