We are currently seeking a Sr. Oracle Database Administrator to join our team of IT professionals.

Required Education
• BSC/BA -- Comp, SCI, EE, Math or equivalent technical studies
Desirable Certifications
• Oracle 9i/10g
Required Skills for Sr. Oracle DBA
• Applicants will be required to have minimum of 5 years DBA experience and are expected to have expert level knowledge in the following areas:
• Oracle 9i and 10g experience
• Windows Server 2003 experience
• Backup and recovery using RMAN
• Experience with DataGuard
• Database monitoring and performance tuning
• Installation, configuration and patching
• Database utilities and tools i.e. SQL-loader, Export/Import, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Recovery Manager
• Oracle Net Services, Oracle Names and Oracle client configuration
• PL/SQL and SQL programming
• OS scripting, file manipulation, transfer, and job scheduling
• Setting database environment standards
• Familiarity with database administration toolsets
• Proficiency in developing database infrastructure automation
• Working independently and in a team environment
• Leading a team of junior to mid level DBAs
• Mentoring and coaching skills
• Providing on-call and off-hours support
Additional Desirable Skills
• SQL Server 2000/2005
• OAS administration
• IIS administration
• Unix and/or Linux skills
• Experience with OID and LDAP
• DB2, FoxPro, MS Access, IMS, MySQL
• .Net, Java and/or C programming
• Oracle and/or SQL Server replication
• OLTP and data warehouse development
• Experience providing managed services
