This is a great opportunity for someone interested in utilizing their C++ skills to gain experience in trading systems. Our client, a leading trading firm based in Chicago, is looking for several C++ Developers to join their growing organization. The role will require maintaining code and developing new functionality for existing software, as well as designing new features and enhancements for the firm's proprietary electronic trading system. As a Trading Systems Developer, you will work together with traders, financial engineers and other IT staff on Front-Office Trading applications, Electronic Trading Systems, Position Keeping applications, Back-Office Systems and Exchange Connectivity Interfaces.

Requirements:
* 3+ years C++ development experience in a Unix / Linux environment. Any trading systems or Windows system programming knowledge is a plus.
* Strong Linux / UNIX and SQL skills.
* Proficient with the use of STL and POSIX threads.
* Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Perl, UNIX Shell, awk, etc.) is required.
* Familiarity with web technologies, i.e. PHP, AJAX is a plus.
