Job Description:
A founding member of our defense-related applications engineering team based in Orlando. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in shipping products, defining innovative technical designs, and leading small engineering teams to implement that design.

Requirements:
-BS in Computer Science or related field (-MS or PhD in Computer Science preferred)
-8-15 years experience in software development (preferably C++)
-Expert understanding of C++, including multiple-interface programming, polymorphism, and template meta-programming, with a solid understanding of how such language mechanisms operate at run-time and why they are useful
-Ability to understand and extend the software architecture and interface design of components that are part of a large code base
-Strong teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical subject matter to other engineers and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical members of the team

Additional Skills:
-Defense industry experience in modeling and simulation strongly preferred with exposure to HLA/DIS
-Military service preferred
-Previous technical lead experience would be preferred
-Previous experience with developing / maintaining SDKs or libraries for 3rd party developers
