Nimbuzz is looking for an Erlang guru to provide technical lead on development, test and integration activities. Based at Nimbuzz headquarters in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, you will be working with the full life cycle of systems implemented in Erlang. You will have the responsibility for the execution of all Test and Integration activities (from design stage to first site implementation) of new mobile services and solutions to upgrades and patch testing. You will be managing suppliers, compiling and agreeing test plans, coordinating test activities and specifying and managing test resources. You will be planning and developing processes to support integrate future services and solutions, and along the way, provide Erlang related technical support and mentorship to others in the team.
On top of a documented and solid history of development, testing and integrating Erlang based systems, preferably having experience with ejabberd, you must have a good knowledge of Telecommunications industry/market place, with a drive to learn new technologies. Good knowledge of Voice and Data Services and associated Mobile Applications, and a broad experience in integration and acceptance testing of telecommunications services and equipment. You must be organized, have strong project management ability, and as you will be representing your team in international environments, have clear and effective communication skills.
