This position requires hands-on DB experience in a fast-paced, mission critical, production environment, as well as strong knowledge of Internet fundamentals and technologies.
• Oracle Database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery
• Design and install databases, table structures, and allocate storage. Manage all backups, rollbacks, and recoveries
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and security of all deployed databases
• Upgrade, install patches, and manage database performance issues
• Write SQL scripts for requested queries and reports
• Server and network management activities, problem determination and troubleshooting
