Key responsibilities:
Develop, test, validate, document, maintain and execute programs in SAS.
Prepare, document, and review data listings, summary tables, and graphs for inclusion in clinical reports or presentations.
Prepare analysis datasets for use by statisticians.
Ensure analysis data and programming code meet regulatory and company standards and are consistently structured to permit efficient programming, reporting, and review.
Respond to data requests from company team members.
Perform quality assurance procedures on work performed by others.
Our Requirements:
Multi-level position: Position title and level posted is preferred. However, depending on background and experience, we will consider hiring at the Senior Statistical Programmer level.
The Statistical Programmer requires a minimum of two (2) years of solid SAS programming experience, ideally with clinical data. The Senior Statistical Programmer requires a minimum of five (5) years SAS experience in the clinical environment.
Both levels require a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
A Master's degree in mathematics is preferred and may be considered to offset minimum experience requirement.
Knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems required. Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
