Senior Web Interface Developer
Seattle, WA
Create state of the art Web interfaces and applications to support company strategy in the following role:
o Lead user interface development efforts within a core team of talented designers and developers
o Translate overarching design guidelines into consistent and effective user interfaces while collaborating frequently with the Senior Web Interface Designer
o Identify requirements, design and prototype UI, develop and maintain UI specifications and guidelines and work closely with programmers and application developers
o Be fluent in writing cross-browser compliant XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and DHTML
o Understand rich Internet applications
Combine your degree and industry experience with the following skill sets and abilities:
o Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Technology, Marketing, Administration, Multi Media/Web Design or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
o Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience developing user interfaces for Web and/or desktop applications
o Application design experience preferred.
o Strong portfolio of User Interfaces
o Strong, analytical skills with an attention to detail
o Technical competencies required on the following:
o Expert level skills in Presentation Layer Development, XHTML 1.0 Transitional, JavaXcript/DHTML, and CSS
o Expert level skills also required for Adobe Suite
o Experience in XML/XSLT, JSTL, AJAX as well as Teamsite Interwoven is preferred
o Cross-browser compatibility, primarily with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, Safari, Firefox
o IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer, Macromedia Dream weaver or other Web editors
o PhotoShop - for basic graphics manipulation
o Passion for state-of-the-art, cutting edge UI development
o Expert level understanding of current marketplace standards, technologies / trends and apply knowledge to user interface solutions.
o Demonstrable experience and examples of CSS layout
o Leads medium to large scale projects in the creation of web-enabled front-end user interfaces
o Experience in quality assurance activities of all Front End Development analysis deliverables
o Demonstrable ability to apply e-business concepts and models to drive value creation
o Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing requirements
o High level of self motivation, innovation and strategic thinking
o Ability to broker differences and conflict well
o Capability to work in a fast-paced environment (agency background) is preferred
o Strong sense of teamwork and cooperation in a multi-state team environment
o Ability to work closely with Web Designers, Web Writers, internal customers and on occasion executive management
