Our Client is looking for a leader to lead a development team of six to achieve the next level of development milestones and to provide guided structure to utilize existing resources for greater results. The candidate must have several years experience managing a development team and a background in .NET development. The position does require active development in addition to managing the team. Must have SDLC and be able to roll out a project from start to finish including proper documentation with a high degree of autonomy.
Duties:
• Work out current and future IT needs by consulting with people at all levels about the current application systems and deciding how improvements could be made.
• Analyze the information needs of an organization and develop technological solutions to satisfy those needs.
• Prepare or direct development policy and plan strategy development
• Direct activities development initiatives utilizing SDLC and proper documentation
• Provide advice to other senior managers and boards on IT issues and planning and budgeting.
• Manage development personnel including outsourced vendors.
Skills:
• Minimum 3+ years experience in managing a development team.
• 5+ years in a development/analyst role.
• Responsibility for the entire lifecycle from requirements gathering to rollout including QA efforts.
• Experience with system implementation and system conversions
• Strong proven ability to act as a change agent within the organization
• Experience in planning and systems/application development environment managing complex applications.
• Ability and desire to thrive in a high-pressure, timeline driven environment
• Ability to lead on multiple tasks on concurrent projects, enforcing timelines, milestones etc with proper documentation.
