DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER/ REPORTING ENGINEER
Data Warehouse developer to be responsible for all aspects of Data Warehouse and Report Development in Cognos/Microsoft SQL Server environment.
* Work as part of a team to support data and reporting needs for a quickly growing consumer report division.
* ETL development -- key role in adding data to the data warehouse to support business projects and technology initiatives .
* Support business projects, participate in requirement definition, solution development and implementation phases of data warehouse and reporting projects.
* Cognos report and cube development.
* Troubleshoot and resolve data, system issues and performance issues.
Qualifications
* 5+ years experience in data warehouse development and report development.
* Good written and oral communication skills; excellent technical skills.
* Cognos cube and report development experience.
* Working knowledge of data warehouse and data mart architectures.
* SQL Server -- SQL queries and stored procedures to develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform and load data into data warehouse.
* Working familiarity with XML & Service Oriented Architecture, Software Architecture, PDLC.
* Education: BS degree or higher in MIS or engineering fields.
