Job Title: Service Center Technical Consultant

Job Description:
Under the leadership of a Project Manager, works on customer location or remotely to implement Peregrine ServiceCenter products. Understands customer goals and client business environment. May assist customer with definition of requirements, including facilitation of requirements gathering sessions with up to 15 people. Translates customer requirements to technical specifications and translates technical information for non-technical personnel. Adapts product to meet specific customer needs. Provides project status to managing consultant for reporting to customers. May facilitate meetings with customers and direct staff. Meets implementation schedules as committed to customers.
Travel 50 -- 80%.
Job Qualifications:
Technical
• External consulting experience required, at least two years experience implementing Peregrine's ServiceCenter.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and consult, through prior experiences that show ability to help others solve business problems; works independently
• Familiar with UNIX, NT, and/or MVS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to inspire customer confidence through professional presence, self-confidence, and owning results.
• Experience in project management or facilitation a plus.
Consulting
• Ability to act as a site or technical lead consultant.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Willingness to take ownership for projects and responsibility for their successful execution.
• Ability to assume leadership and work without direct supervision.
