We are currently engaged in searching for a technically savvy individual who is looking to join a rapidly growing company as a Product Manager-Telematics in the city of Waterloo. As a vital part of the Product Management and Strategy team, you will be responsible for assessing market opportunities, product direction, writing product requirements and managing the final product release. You will also be accountable for creating product roadmaps and business cases for new and existing products while characterizing and forecasting trends in telematics. As the successful candidate you will meet with clients and prospects to understand needs, problems and objectives to drive business solutions to meet their needs while working closely with all internal stakeholders to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction is met through the final product. Lastly, in this role as Product Manager- Telematics you will work closely with Research & Development, Quality Assurance Testing and Operations during the development and launch process. In order to become a successful candidate for this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical field. A degree in finance, business or accounting would be a strong asset. Strong industry experience (5-7 years) in any one of the Telematics areas: Personal Navigation, GPS, LBS or other wireless technology is a must for this role. The ability to write clear market-driven product requirements along with creating detailed Use Case Analysis/Models is also a requirement for position. Previous experience in software development, management, quality assurance or implementation would be of great advantage. Salary: dependent upon experience.
