The CRM Analyst will be primarily responsible for the ongoing design, development and support of BackOffice applications/systems that support our CRM services offering.
Secondary responsibilities will encompass assisting in the design and development of other decision support related areas (e.g., Enterprise Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, ETL etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
Design, development, configuration and support of existing and future CRM systems based on the E.Piphany Marketing platform as well as other in-house developed information systems
Translating functional requirements into technical specifications
Liaising with the Marketing Product Manager to ensure product specifications are clear defined and properly implemented
Engage in 3rd Level technical support to address Production issues
Required Skills/Experience:
University degree in Computer Science and/or Business Administration or equivalent post secondary education
Extensive theoretical knowledge of data warehousing principles and concepts and practical development experience in all areas of the data warehousing lifecycle
Strong understanding of CRM/CDI principles and techniques
Strong knowledge of OLAP-related principles and concepts
Demonstrated experience with data modeling techniques and concepts
Normalizing/Denormalization
Conceptual/Logical/Physical
Relational/Dimensional
Star/Constellation/Snowflake Schemas
Working knowledge of relational database technologies including Oracle 9i+ and SQL Server 2000+ with respect to:
Strong working knowledge of reading and writing SQL (PL/SQL and Transact-SQL)
Performance Tuning
Experience with ETL software platforms (e.g., Informatica Power Center, Data Stage, Ab Initio etc.)
Experience designing and developing information systems with data volumes 100+ GB
Familiarity with J2EE application servers (e.g., WebLogic, SUN, WebSphere)
Strong working knowledge of UNIX
Strong business/acumen
Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
Self-motivated
Able to work autonomously and as a team player
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience in the technical implementation of analytical CRM software platforms (e.g., E.Piphany, Unica, Chordiant) including application architecting, development, configuration, deployment and administration
Experience with data quality software platforms (e.g., FirstLogic, Trillium, Group One, Data Flux etc.)
Working knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XML/XSLT, Javacript
Experience with BI technologies including (e.g., MicroStrategy, Cognos, Business Objects, Hyperion etc.)
Working knowledge of PERL
