Job Details: QA Supervisor

The responsibility of this position is to supervise and coach Document Imaging Quality Assurance, (QA), personnel. This individual will report directly to the Document Imaging Quality Assurance Manager. In this role, the supervisor will lead and manage teams that provide QA leadership and support for the complete life cycle of the DI scanner portfolio. Team areas of focus include scanner hardware testing, system level testing, engineering evaluation testing, gathering and understanding customer needs, and evaluating competitive products. Driving QA best practices, consistent application of processes across projects, and accessing and leading QA continuous improvement will be a responsibility of this leader.

The supervisor will perform resource planning and hiring as needed in addition to providing input to budget activities. This supervisor will establish performance goals, provide feedback throughout the year, and assess progress against goals with the team of QA engineers and technicians, in addition to authoring performance appraisals and implementing annual salary review. Additionally, this supervisor will work with individuals to develop career plans and growth opportunities.
