Position:
This is a software development position working on network software. This position calls for a highly skilled developer that can think outside the box and works well in a team environment.
Requirements:
• Java, C++ and C, with network management experience in your background.
• SQL databases including Postgres and MySQL, or at least ANSI SQL
• UNIX-like operating systems (Linux), Windows operating systems
• Proficient scripting ability in a language such as Perl or Python
• Prior development experience in a Linux operating system environment, or other UNIX-like operating systems.
• HTML/DHTML, Document Object Model (DOM), Javascript
• Model-view-controller UI architecture
• Prior experience writing system-level applications that were very reliable
and fault-tolerant.
• 5-6 years of full time development experience will be required.
• During this time you will have extensively used some or all of the technologies listed above.
• Experience with IP, Network Management is needed.
• Extensive experience developing enterprise software
• A demonstrable track record of delivering high quality products on schedule
• Familiarity with modern agile development methodologies and practices
