Looking for an awesome web developer
Who are we and why would you want to work here?
We're a San Francisco-based consumer Internet startup part of Ooga Labs working on a community-building discussion site. Unlike others, we're not going to talk about how revolutionary and ground breaking we are. We'll let you come in and judge for yourself. On this project you'll be the second member of this team and work with the founder on all aspects of the product.
What's our track record (i.e. have we been successful before?)
In the last eight years, we've sold successful consumer Web companies for over $100 million. Some other companies we built didn't end up being enormous financial successes, but were huge consumer hits -- the original Napster is a good example of that.

• Have completed projects (at work or on the side) that you're proud of
• Good communication skills (actually enjoy talking to people)
• Cool, confident, but not arrogant (we have a 'no assholes' policy)
• Dying to make kick-ass products
• Truly love web development
• Experienced in frontend web development
• Familiar with Python and/or PHP
• On top of modern web design
• Able to take a high-level feature description and run with it
• Into figuring out great product experiences/UI
• A long term relationship would be ideal but a summer internship is a possibility
