Job Description:
Our Client is looking for Sr. Lead Network Video Engineer with IPTV, VTC,
vBrick, Tanberg, VOIP, Network Switching and Routing Experience.
This position is for a Sr. Lead Network Video Engineer with IPTV, VTC,
vBrick, Tanberg, VOIP, Network Switching and Routing Experience.
This position is for a Network Video Engineer. The intent of the position is
to identify a thought leader in the area of network-based video and
collaboration who can engineer and deploy IPTV and video teleconferencing
technologies (VTC) for the customer. Solutions will be based on the vBrick
and Tanberg solution sets.
The engineering will be responsible for meeting with the customer to
understand the technical environment and technical needs and develop a
vision for IPTV and VTC technologies. The engineer will be responsible for
developing a project plan, developing a design, and working with
other members of the engineering team to deploy the solutions.
Once the base technologies are deployed, the engineer will be responsible
for monitoring trends in the industry to identify opportunities for
improving the services provided, and for ensuring the security
vulnerabilities are mitigated.
The technologies will be deployed nation-wide and to the Internet.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 7+ years experience in
architecting and deploying network-based video and collaboration
technologies. A deep understanding of industry trends and emerging
technologies in IPTV and VTC areas. Experience implementing vBrick
products.
