SUMMARY:
The Manager, Training & Instructional Design should enjoy the challenge of building training programs from scratch. He/she must have diverse hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and implementing new training and development programs and strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Designs, leads, and implements learning and development curricula
* Takes ownership of customer service new hire training strategies (including job skills analysis, benefits administration training, hard & soft skills, supervisor training, coaching programs, and career development)
* Exp conducting needs assessments, job & task analysis, training program redesign efforts
* Highly skilled at Performance Consulting and Performance Gap analysis
* Strong facilitation skills and exp designing and conducting train-the-trainer sessions on new curricula
* Expert in instructional design with hands-on project management exp
* Adept at influence management
* Supports performance management enhancements, training/nontraining solutions and performance gap analysis
* Must have exp designing and implementing blended-learning strategies
* Utilizes systems approach to build training and development programs, employing formal process and procedures
* Designs and delivers both organizational and targeted training programs
* Mentors junior staff in the design and delivery of both organizational and targeted training
* Creates and designs eLearning training solutions and blended-learning deliverables for new training programs
* Develops survey, evaluation, and ROI instruments for training, OD and HR initiatives, administers instruments, provides formal analysis and reports, makes recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's degree in Instructional Design, Training & Development, Organizational Development or related field
* Additional ISPI certifications/awards, CPT, HPT and train-the-trainer certifications preferred
* 7+ yrs developing and managing corporate training programs
* Exp developing both hard & soft skills training using a variety of media including eLearning, web-based, instructor-led
* Ability to lead without authority, strong influence management skills
* Demonstrated project and people management exp
* Exp measuring success in training programs
* Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
* Creative, self-directed problem-solver with the energy needed to be part of a growing team

---PREFERRED---
* Exp with authoring tools used in eLearning such as Captivate, Articulate, Flash
* Financial industry and/or operations exp.
