LACED Interactive seeks an assertive, knowledgeable and capable ASP.NET web developer to join our team. LACED Interactive provides both design and technology solutions for a variety of platforms such as the web, mobile, and television. We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented, work equally well both independently and as part of a larger team and enjoy keeping pace with emerging technologies.
Candidate must have a minimum 1-2 years experience developing dynamic web sites and/or web applications with a mastery of Internet technologies. Computer science degree preferred but certainly not mandatory. Must be detail oriented and work well in a team environment. The position will involve working with the production/development team to build web sites and web applications as well as playing a key role in maintaining existing projects.
* 1-2+ years ASP.NET (C#)
* 1-2+ years VS.NET 2008
* 1-2+ years database design and programming (database general knowledge)
* 1-2+ years HTML/CSS/XHTML/DHTML/JavaScript years XML/XSL
* Object Oriented Experience
* Experience with MySQL, SQL Server
* Knowledge, experience with source/version control systems and structured deployment practices.
* Experience with both Windows/Unix operating systems and web servers.
* Familiarity w/Actionscript and flash integration.
Position Hours:
This position is contract to fulltime (30-40hours a week). The candidate will be required to come into the agency office for 25-40hours per week, depending on work loads. Future flexibility exists for candidate to eventually split their time between working from home and the agency office once their skill sets have been demonstrated appropriately to management. Instant Messenger is a must for communication at all times.
Pay Rate:
Pay rate is negotiable and based on experience, and the candidate's mastery of the aforementioned skill sets.
Location for this position:
All applicants must reside in Southern California. This is an in-house contract to fulltime position, and candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Southern California area. We are currently not considering International candidates at this time.
