Position Description:

Experienced Business Analyst for Oracle ERP Planning Modules . This position will function as liaison between Business, IT and other organizations by defining business processes and functional requirements. Extensive experience in Oracle ASCP and working in a manufacturing environment is required.

Responsibilities:

Operational experience in the high tech manufacturing sector.
Have the ability to work independently with minimal assistance
Strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written).
Resolve complex business issues related to technical issues
Manage escalations and provide reports according to policies
Posses strong business analysis, process mapping, business process redesign and implementation skills.
Ability to translate and document functional requirements.
Documenting and maintaining detailed business process mappings, user requirements and system design/configuration
Provide subject matter expertise at the global level for Planning to enable business continuity.
Conduct team facilitation, business case development, and provide a long term planning strategy
Lead functional support discussions and interact with field teams to collaborate on business issues
Conduct Test planning and execution: Develop test data and plan, prepare, and execute application testing, including user acceptance testing
End user training and content development
Work with company Master Planner who will:
Maintain the Master Production Schedule in accordance with the business unit sales forecast, Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP), safety stock requirements, Procurement
status, and Available-To-Promise (ATP) performance targets. Supports all global regions, primarily USA.
Reconcile supply and demand with planning tools and recommend/execute purchases or changes.
Identifies and resolves conflicts regarding material and capacity availability.
Provide daily reports on back-order status for all regions. Reports provide availability dates within the current month and recovery dates for all backordered products.
Meet weekly with Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Procurement to discuss planning, inventory, and available to promise issues.
Plan weekly/monthly production schedules.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelors degree in a relevant field, e.g., Business, Engineering, Management, etc.
Oracle ERP Applications, release 11.5.8 or above
Strong Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project and Visio.
Years or Experience 7 to 10 years of Oracle ERP experience, as well as two full implementations required
Oracle APS, ASCP required, CP, IO, PS, GOP, DRP, SNO, ATP and CTP and Demantra preferred
Good analytical skills, with good understanding of basic math and statistics.
Demonstrated ability to plan, evaluate, and effectively present ideas and concepts.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to attend to multiple concurrent tasks.

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Global Experience strongly preferred. (China/Asia helpful)
APICS certification desirable.
PCB manufacturing experience desirable.
