Chief Information Officer -- Bluffton, SC
CareCore National is a leader in benefit management programs for health insurance organizations. A rapidly-growing company with over 800 employees, CareCore manages Radiology, Cardiology and Oncology benefits for over 30 million health plan members.
CareCore National is searching for a highly accomplished and hands on Chief Information Officer for our executive offices in Bluffton, SC. The Chief Information Officer will manage the day-to-day IT staff operations in the areas of application development, IT operations, infrastructure, telecommunications, and e-commerce development. The Chief Information Officer partners with executive management to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions designed to help drive top-line growth, substantially reduce operating expenses, and enhance operating efficiencies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in management information systems, information technology, computer science, or a closely related field.
• 10+ yrs of demonstrated hands on leadership experience in IT; and a minimum of 5 yrs experience in senior IT management positions.
• Proven track record of managing a multifaceted IT organization in a large corporate setting with multiple products and services.
• Significant experience with a web-based architecture.
• Experience launching new products and services.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
• Self-motivated, hands on, strong leadership skills, outstanding customer service orientation.
• Experience with Managed Healthcare is a plus.
