Conduct an analysis to identify an optimal initial target hardware and software platform for a PDA device that will support our application's unique requirements.
Develop a communications protocol that will support real time communications between the PDA and our automotive on-board safety system in vehicles while operating on the road.
Develop a user interface application to run on the PDA that will support real time interaction between drivers and the on-board safety system including data input and information display based on specifications from our transportation safety engineers.
Develop a method of automatically updating PDA application software in the field.
Ongoing product support and feature enhancement.
