ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
**Development and coding of web application projects
**On time delivery of web application projects that meet required technical specifications
**Actively provide feedback and support to application/project technical specification process
**Interface with client software engineers and web admin during implementation and deployment process
**Gather feedback from design and technical staff on web site development needs.
**Build user interface applications and back end databases using various programming and scripting languages.
**Author complex web pages.
**Assist in project planning and web site design.
**Create prototypes and functional specifications for software projects.
**Create technical methodologies for engineering solutions to web based development problems.
**Meet with engineering personnel on specifics of projects, new technologies, and deadlines.
**Determine new web technologies to utilize, such as browsers, languages, and plug-ins.
**Conceptualize long-term needs of web development, and plan and manage related projects.
**Make suggestions on creating web based technical standards for specific web sites.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
**Solid understanding of Java, J2EE(EJB, JSP,Servlets), Struts, Struts2 is plus, Springs is a plus, HTML, Oracle 9i and higher, PL/SQL(procedures, functions and etc), XML.
**Other Technical Knowledge Weblogic, Unix Environment and Shell Scripts
**Experience with MVC(Struts).
**Excellent research and problem solving skills.
**Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
**Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
**Ability to work independently toward general results.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
**Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred.
**Prior Experience: 3-5 Years experience of hands-on coding and development of web applications.
