Job Summary:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for partnering with the business in analysis of process and information needs to clearly identify and document project requirements for technology solutions.

Focus of the role is to build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary contact-point for the business to engage IT for solution analysis services.

In addition to helping lead in the creation of analysis and requirements definition standards for the organization, the Senior BSA will also specialize in a specific competency within Requirements Management or Business Systems Analysis and lead the ongoing improvement of that element within the team.

The Senior BSA may also be tasked with managing other BSAs.

Essential Functions:
Help to build and maintain close relationships with all business areas

Work as a primary resource for business systems analysis services

Demonstrate team and departmental leadership

Pro-actively partner with the business in solution identification and requirements definition

Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of business processes and technical systems

Participate in establishment of standards for business systems analysis and requirements management

Support bank-wide adoption of business systems analysis services and standards

Perform requirements elicitation, triage, specification, and change management activities

Experience & Qualifications:

At least 6 years combined technical and business analytical experience

Experience in a supervisory or management role

Experience creating and maintaining relationships with business contacts

Education and/or Certifications:
Minimum of a bachelor**s degree from an accredited university, IT-related preferred

Technical skills and abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem diagnosis and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple concurrent efforts
Ability to conceptualize and think creatively
Ability to be persuasive
Ability to effectively translate between business and technical language

Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment
