As a representative of the corporation this individual will be responsible for the development of new business in Chicago and the surrounding Mid West Markets for the company, i.e., lead development, assessment of client needs, proposals to clients and closing of contracts for the company's products. Additionally, it shall be this person's responsibility to maintain those currently existing relationships that the company has in Chicago and surrounding Mid West Markets. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be capable of addressing the assessment of each potential client's use of the current and future Company telephony product catalog. The candidate is presumed to have prior knowledge of telephony and the exchange and trading environments. The candidate should have a familiarity with telecom requirements of the CME/CBOT.
The candidate must also be a mature individual, who can appropriately apply priorities to their daily schedule without the supervision of corporate management. This person must work effectively with peers in New York and senior client managers. In the company's normal environment the candidate will be teaming with their peers to guarantee that the service to the client is of the highest caliber in the industry.
Required Skills:
The candidate should have a college degree or equivalent business experience with sufficient hands on work experience and have a thorough understanding of telephone and trading turret systems. In addition, experience with IP "Trader Voice", global IP “Hoot & Holler” applications, a STRONG understanding of IP telecommunications vendor facilities / order processing is a must. Prior employment in a telecommunications' service department within a trading or brokerage environment will be a major plus, if accompanied by a successful sales background.
He / She must have a demonstrated successful background in presentations to prospective clients, contact management and be competent in the use of MS Windows, Word, Excel and Project.
Non-Tech Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
