PLM Lead Analyst / Product Development Solutions
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday -- Friday
Responsibilities:
The PLM Lead Analyst will design, develop, and deliver information systems solutions to meet product development business needs. Solutions will need to be global and integrate cross-functionally. Business areas of focus include Engineering, Quality and Procurement and its linkages with Manufacturing, Logistics and Marketing. Current direction requires knowledge of the following business areas: Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing. This position is responsible for providing business and functional leadership in the development of PLM capabilities within the following areas; Project Systems/Management and Portfolio Management, Product Data Mgt, Engineering Change Mgt., Document Mgt. Systems, and Product/BOM Master Data. The PLM Lead Analyst will also lead in efforts to ensure the GIS application portfolio is developed and maintained to meet the business process needs.
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Business Administration or Engineering, Master degree in a related area a plus.
• 5-7years experience in ABAP, Object ABAP, Business Server Pages, Web Dynpro, Java or equivalent technologies.
• Knowledgeable in SAP PLM, Project Systems, cProjects, xRPM, SAP R/3, SAP XI, SAP Workflow, SAP Portal, Master Data systems, and other Product Life Cycle Mgt. Systems.
• Experience in CAD Integration, DMS, MDM, Innovation mgt., Product Quality, Procurement, or Manufacturing applications a plus.
• Understanding of integrated applications and information sharing between applications.
• Requires strong interpersonal and team building skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and independently.
• Strong skills to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including ability to translate technical information into non-technical terms, and ability to sell a concepts/ideas to business and IS executive leadership.
• Good decision making and judgment skills.
• Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks.
• Great consulting and problem solving skills.
• Possess strong character and integrity.
• Confidence in their actions and decisions to ensure that products are exceeding consumer expectations.
