Three month contract to hire position in Uptown Charlotte.
Manage systems delivery projects as assigned within the project delivery methodologies approved.
Provide all required documentation and reporting regarding the assigned projects.
Provide leadership to the IS team in how to execute project management and related design activities successfully
Computer Skills Microsoft Project or similar PM tools, Microsoft and/or Oracle-based/web-based technologies desired, Business Intelligence Tools -- COGNOS, Business Objects, Brio, etc. a plus, Programming experience (such as VB, java, html, ASP)
development, Accounting/Finance, Project ROI Analysis, SQL Concepts, Business Reporting Skills, Development of User Requirements and Specifications, Resource mentoring, coaching, and OTJ training
Desired Experience 4-6 years minimum Project Management/Project Leadership experience, 1-3 years business analysis or financial/accounting experience, 1-3 years programming experience, 1+ years with structured systems development methodology (such as UML, RUP, etc.) AN?OR Service-Oriented Architecture. PMP certification desired.
Desired Education B.S in Computer Science, MIS, AIS, or equivalent experience
Must be currently living in the Charlotte area. Must be an US Citizen or CURRENTLY holding a Green Card.
