*Looking for a mid to senior level Data Warehouse Developer to support and enhance a financial and enterprise Data Warehouse with OLAP reporting functionality.
Person must be able to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain complex database application systems and will possess a high degree of expertise in delivering BI solutions with an Enterprise-wide Data Warehouse architecture. This position will also translate business requirements into optimized reporting data and deploy best practices/standards of data warehouse technology and processes.
Responsibilities
• Design, build and support a Data warehousing and Reporting solution running on Netezza.
• Develop and manage data integration processes using Data Manager and other ETL tools.
• Author highly-complex dashboards and reports using Cognos.
• Work closely with internal clients to capture business processes and data requirements.
• Document system and procedure changes.
• Develop data dictionaries and maintain database schemas.
• Conduct regular maintenance routines and coordinate upgrade activities as needed.
Required Skills

• Expertise with RDBMS, data warehousing and BI reporting tools (preferably Cognos 8.2).
• Experience with various ETL tools (preferably Data Manager).
• Experience with Netezza, or desire to become proficient.
• Experience in multi-dimensional modeling and data architecture.
• Knowledge of BI technology trends and best practices
• Full life-cycle software development experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong SQL knowledge

Required Experience
6+ years Datawarehouse programming.
3+ years of experience with Cognos or other industry standard OLAP and reporting tools.
