Casino Careers is seeking an IT Manager whose primary focus is:
-Developing new programs to enhance our ability to attract candidates to our web site (i.e. FTP our job postings to other web sites)
-Managing our Client Accounts (training new clients, activating new accounts, communicating with new clients who are inquiring about our services)
-Ensuring that our computers & network are running efficiently
-Update office hardware and software as necessary
-Make web site enhancements (such as reports, new recruitment Client tools). This programming is usually in Cold Fusion or SQL Several priority projects on which our IT Manager will focus immediately upon hire include:
-Increase the number of candidates that visit our web site by developing & implementing a FTP of our jobs to College Recruiter and other Job Boards (Google, etc.).
-Develop a system that will integrate our web site's Client database with an automated Client Service Agreement for the type of recruitment account they request.
-Create our "persona" on FaceBook and MySpace, similar to Jobster's. This would require a miniature version of our Job Search Engine: http://www.casinocareers.com/jobsearch.cfm
-Work with our ISP to update the web site from Cold Fusion 7.0 to 8.0
Responsibilities:
-Set-up software on laptops and office PC's.
-Troubleshoot the Network Devices, and small LAN. Sets up Client and Employee Email Addresses on Web Site server
-Establish and safeguard Computer Log-in Passwords
-Set-up New Client accounts
-Purchase all computer equipment and ensure operational efficiency and integrity of Windows XP network, office computer hardware and software, printers, etc.
-Train Clients how to post jobs and use recruitment tools
-Monitor client utilization, accuracy and format of job postings, expiration of accounts, etc.
-Cultivate professional alliances to improve web site search engine ranking through use of link exchanges and trade of our Job Search engine.
-Create direct marketing campaigns to introduce gaming companies to our services or advise current clients of new or improved services.
-Develop email lists by exporting the names of non-clients, ex-clients, or current clients from proprietary customer database.
-Research new software programs to enhance operational efficiency
-Ensure the accuracy of the client and candidate databases by updating both with new software and personnel as appropriate
-Update web site content to maintain accuracy and enhance efficiency and incorporate new technology.
-Assist staff of Casino Executive Search (our sister division) with computer problems or with special projects
-Monitor and contact Clients with pending service agreements
Requirements:
Skills Required:
College degree in computer science, information systems, hospitality technology, or marketing database management (CRM) required. Minor in sales & marketing experience a plus.
This position requires the ability to learn quickly, possess excellent organizational and time management skills, pay attention to detail and have the ability to multi-task.
Candidate should possess excellent writing/verbal & typing skills, and be very skilled in Internet navigation, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledgeable in HTML, SQL, Java Script, AJAX, Photoshop and Cold Fusion.
Candidates who possess experience with other server-side languages (such as PHP, ASP, etc?) and demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn ColdFusion will also be considered.

Starting Salary: $45,000 - $55,000
Based upon on past programming experience and applicable knowledge/proven skills related to the Casino Careers web site and most recent compensation.
Annual Bonus & Comprehensive Benefits Package
Office Hours: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm - Monday - Friday
