Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for an IT Application Specialist position.
The position description is as follows:
Summary:
Primary role is that of supporting implementations and multi-property rollout of new and existing applications and/or interfaces. Reviews, analyzes, and assists with defining business applications and modification requirements to systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the organization's application systems. Must have first hand knowledge of coordinating large scale testing efforts. Consults with property IT Business Analysts to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Is expected to write documentation to describe program development requirements, test plans and corrections. Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures. Must have a working knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts.
Requirements:
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least five (5) years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must be PC proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Access preferred.) The candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of the systems for which they are responsible.
