Flex Software Development, Impact and Challenging Opportunity for New Product Development
Location: Dallas, TX or Austin, TX
Riccione Resources, the Recruitment Firm with 20+ years of experience representing great companies, has multiple openings for a UI Engineers who can understand the product development life-cycle. These positions are for an Early-stage Startup that has a strong management team with a consistent and solid track record for building start up companies into successful organizations. As a result of their saavy business-sense, the path for growth has already begun warranting the need for three UI Engineers who will focus on the client-side development.
What will you be doing?
Work in core group of 3-4 developers, developing product from conception to completion. Focus on client side development of the UI portion of the company's web-based collaboration product. You will be needed for requirement analysis, object-oriented design, code and unit testing as well as debugging and defect fixing. All development is using Flex and ActionScript.
o You will interface effectively with other teams, as necessary, to implement projects per schedule
o Participate in design and code reviews
o Ensure system quality by unit testing, writing automated test scripts, and supporting QA staff to test software systems
o Debug and resolve code and web page problems
What kind of candidate are we looking for ?
First of all, we need someone who is ready to make a significant impact on developing a new product and interested in an entrepreneurial firm We also need the following:
Minimum 3 years web based UI programming experience
o Product development experience using ActionScript.
o Flex(preferred) or Flash
o Proficiency in OO techniques,
o Familiarity with AJAX design patterns
o Knowledge of UI usability techniques required
o Developing project from beginning to end
o Good communication and writing skills
o Prefer Bachelor's degree
Ability to telecommute.
