OBJECTIVE:
To provide development and implementation experience for Service/Asset Management products and tools, primarily HP/Peregrine applications.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Guide and perform the software development, maintenance, and enhancement of HP/Peregrine's products and tools.
• Responsible for analysis, design, programming, implementation, technical documentation, testing, and maintenance for HP/Peregrine products and tools
• Share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities and the ability to act effectively as a team member.
• Assess objectives for the assigned project phases and recommend technical strategies and tactics to achieve business needs.
• Identify and resolve technical problems and issues
• Maintain the HP/Peregrine applications and databases
• Provide technical support to account teams for customer engagements
• Participate in technical design meetings
• Provide leadership to other teams when it comes to any upgrades or maintenance issues
• Ability to serve as System Administrator by creating/deleting user ids, assignment groups, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Seasoned HP/Peregrine developer with a minimum of 4-6 years experience with HP/Peregrine products, including a detailed working knowledge of HP/Peregrine products, especially ServiceCenter, AssetCenter, Connect.It, and the Get.It suite
• Experience with previous HP/Peregrine ServiceCenter and AssetCenter upgrades.
• Basic understanding of servers and networking.
• Some knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
