We are currently assisting our Syracuse, NY based client in their efforts to recruit a Network Support Technician for a 3-6 month contract assignment. The person selected for this assignment will be responsible for the following:
File Servers
Periodic equipment cleaning
Hard drive defragmentation
Patch and software revision/upgrade management
Diagnose server issues, repair/reconfigure/replace malfunctioning equipment
Exchange server support
Monitoring user storage
Archiving SPAM
Other duties as requested by management
EOE/M/F/D/V
Required Skills:
Server 2000/2003
Active Directory/Understanding network relation to AD
Security and SPAM filter knowledge
Cisco Knowledge is a plus.
