We have a SQL Implementation Engineer opening located in Houston, TX. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity with an enterprise level organization working on a high profile project! Individuals will need to have excellent communication skills both verbally and written as well as the ability to interface with various levels of personnel.
Qualified individuals will have the following:
1. Solid SQL engineering/infrastructure experience.
2. LAN/WAN experience.
3. Setting up databases.
4. Laying out platforms.
5. Working with clusters.
6. Setting up connections between legacy and client/server systems.
7. Experience gathering business requirements.
8. Experience creating and writing design documents for networks to include working with a design committee.
9. Exceptional client interfacing skills.
Desired skills include:
1. Microsoft Certifications.
