Position Description:
Create, maintain and execute test plans, cases & scripts. Provide supporting data to assist in go/no-go decisions. Facilitate defect meetings and manage defect logs (by logging, validating, closing and communicating defects) as well as providing input on quality issues found but not covered by test cases/scripts.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the creation and maintenance of associated documents, including Test Plan/Cases and scripts
Monitor current Quality Assurance workflow for assigned projects
Champion the use of metrics, root cause analysis and audits
Follow Quality Assurance status reports, escalate systemic problems and acceptance criteria
Develop test plans and scripts to ensure project requirements are met
Perform Functional/System/Integration/Regression/Stress/Load and other testing as required
Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems per policy, standards and procedures
Lead Quality Assurance tasks within projects as necessary
Perform reviews on documentation & progress throughout testing lifecycle
Assist in the creation and implementation of Quality Assurance process & policy
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business users
Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems professionally
Ability to communicate technical details to non-technical business partners
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience in all phases and stages of hardware/software testing
2+ years experience using Quality Assurance tools (Mercury Automated Testing Tools (QTP, LoadRunner, WinRunner, etc)
Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
1+ years of experience in project management
Knowledge of 4GL Development Languages
Knowledge of UNIX operating systems
Working knowledge of SQL
