We have a Cisco / Windows Server Engineer opening located in Houston, TX. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity with an enterprise level organization working on a high profile project! Individuals will need to have excellent communication skills both verbally and written as well as the ability to interface with various levels of personnel.

Qualified individuals will have the following:

1. Solid network engineering/infrastructure experience.
2. LAN/WAN experience.
3. Configuration, installation and maintenance of Cisco Routers and Switches.
4. Experience with some of the following Cisco devices: WISM, 1242, 3560, 3750, 6509, FWSM, PIX, 7206, 2811, 7600, 3030, ASA, 5505, and 5550.
5. Windows 2003 Server experience.
6. Experience gathering business requirements.
7. Experience creating and writing design documents for networks to include working with a design committee.
8. Exceptional client interfacing skills.

Desired skills include:

1. Cisco and Microsoft Certifications.
2. Windows 2008 Server experience.
