MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking an Incident Manager JC6584 with 3-5 years experience as a Service Desk Analyst (1-2 of those years as a Senior Service Desk Analyst) providing Tier 1 server, application, database and data feed support. Must have experience collecting and documenting knowledge base information. ITIL certification a plus.

You will track and manage incidents through their lifecycle and ensure timely involvement from appropriate support teams. Ensure support teams document activities and decisions thoroughly; follow up with appropriate support groups if information is missing before closing a ticket; produce incident tracking reports and may identify incidents that miss service level objectives. Participate/lead in morning conference calls to review incidents to clarify incident facts and identify opportunities for improvement. Provide support and troubleshooting for data feed incidents, including working with business unit representatives. Potentially resolve Tier 1 incidents in the future (i.e. reboot servers, etc. with proper documentation). Initiate/run SWAT process for system outage and coordinate all communications between vendors. Create documentation that improve Tier 1 support and the incident management role. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with team leading skills and ability to build effective client and vendor relationships.
