Intraware is currently seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to develop and support our sports-centric social network platform, www.zathlete.com.
Areas of Responsibility:
* - Design and develop significant new features as well as frequent ongoing improvements.
* - Work independently and in a team environment discussing, defining and designing the future of the product
* - Ensure the stability, scalability, and robustness of our site
Requirements:
* - Proven track record developing scalable and robust cross browser web applications.
* - Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails, its ecosystem of gems, and Web 2.0 technologies such as AJAX, Javascript, and CSS.
* - Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or prior work experience that is applicable to the position.
* - Exceptional character, self-motivated, honest, entrepeneurial spirit, team-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability
* - Experience with Flash/Flex/Actionscript, Apache webserver, Linux, webservices, XML and mysql database is a plus
